Commission Process ((2023 Commissions Closed))

I'm so glad that you're interested in the commission process! 
Here are a few tips & tricks to understand the process a little better:

I can work from your inspiration photos, ideas, or references to other pieces of mine. I don't "NEED" a photo of yours to work from in order to make a commission happen, however I am happy to receive one if you have one!

A lot of times, I have clients come to me telling me which pieces of mine they like (and why).  Then, they tell me exactly what they'd like me to change in order to make it their own special piece. For example, a client can look through my portfolio and see the painting "Sunset", decide that they LOVE it, but they'd rather it be a purple color scheme rather than orange- we can do that! I can add and subtract from other paintings that I've done in the past to create you a whole new custom piece. 

I work closely with each client.  I'll email you process photos as the painting evolves. This allows for open communication about the artwork, enabling you to have a say in what happens next or what changes they'd like to be made. (For example- add MORE of a color, add LESS of a color, add a new color, remove a color, add more darkness in the bottom...and so on!!) 
The process is very case-to-case basis. 
We ALWAYS make it work no matter how hard it is to decide what you may or may not want.

TIMEFRAME
Depending on the time of year and detail, my wait list is usually around 3-4 weeks.  
Please let me know if you have a date that you would like your painting finished by!
I ask for a 50% pay installment to begin work,
and the final 50% before I ship your painting to you.

SHIPMENT 
I will ship your painting safely to prevent any damage during transit.
