PET PORTRAIT PROCESS
Are you thinking about commissioning a pet portrait? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Thanks for considering me for the job!
STEP 1 – CONNECT WITH ME
The first step to commissioning me for your project is to send a quick inquiry using the form below. Simply describe what you're looking for and let me know when you'd like it completed. Please note that as these are detailed portraits, they take much time to perfect, therefore my typical turnaround is approximately 4-6 weeks. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please contact me as soon as possible to get on my list for 2021!
STEP 2 - SELECT THE SIZE
Please select the size of portrait you would prefer. A lot of thought should go into your decision, not just based on the price point. Consider the space that your portrait will occupy in your home, and how many pets you would like to include in your portrait. STEP 3 - CHOOSE YOUR PHOTOS
I require a high quality photo so that I can use as much detail as possible. The better quality photos I have, the better your portrait will be!
You can email your photos to thestudiodumont@gmail.com, and we will review which photo would look best for the size of portrait you have selected.
STEP 4 – CONTRACT
I want to ensure that you receive a unique, one of a kind creation that speaks to the soul of your animal. There are always differences for each inquiry. Therefore pricing is dependent on the size, style, and medium of your choice.
Upon agreement, I will email you a contract and invoice for the total portrait. A nonrefundable 50% deposit is required to book your time slot and purchase selected materials. Your pet portrait will not be started until your deposit has been received.
STEP 5 – PAINTING
Are you getting excited? I know I am! Throughout my painting process, I will be in close contact with you. You will receive up to three process photos, so if there is anything that you would like me to adjust, please let me know!
Upon your portrait’s completion, I will send you a final photo of your portrait. The remaining balance of your invoice will be due at this time.
STEP 6 - SHIPPING
Once the remaining invoice is received, I will carefully package and ship your completed portrait. Now, it’s just a matter of days until you will finally have your portrait!
STEP 7 - SHARE
