Art Therapy

Art therapy is a mental health profession that utilizes creative expression as a means of communication and exploration. While traditional talk therapy primarily relies on verbal communication, expressive arts can offer another pathway when words feel insufficient.

Creative processes often reveal themes, emotions, and strengths that might otherwise remain outside conscious awareness. Art therapy is process oriented and incorporates various art materials and techniques to facilitate self-expression, healing, and transformation.

Engaging in this therapeutic modality can enhance cognitive and sensorimotor abilities, assist with nervous system regulation, boost self-esteem and self-awareness, build emotional resilience, promote self-insight, and improve social interactions.

If you're drawn to a therapeutic approach that celebrates creativity, depth psychology, and personalized holistic care, I'd be honored to support you!
